drills/hill reps 30:00 [4] 3.54 km (8:28 / km) +200m 6:36 / km
shoes: INOV8

reps at Te Kooti Park
5min warm up around edges of park
stretches of legs
10 x 50 m sprints on flat with recovery walk / jog
3min recovery jog to base of hill
8 x 50m sprints up hill on angle to hill because hill is very steep.

Stopped at 8 hill sprints as felt I was slowing down and wanted to do quality rather than quantitiy
shins never hurt at all.
shoes may be too tight as rubbing on big toes still

10min walk/ jog cool down and stretches of legs

at home also did 20 squats

ran around the courses for Waiwhakareke orienteering next wednesday. Glad I went as there were some changes to be made. Rather fun and I felt energetic, maybe cause I had this run planned and got out early in the day.

Shins never ached. I ran most of the time, stopping to check map in a few places. So much fun! lots of long grass, thistles, low branches etc.

looks like event shall go well. Felt good to improve my map also (-:

at home did excersice for upper back - with band on door knob 1 set
- lying on floor scorpion style exercise x 3 sets of ten
- heel raisers on wood step two up two down, 3 sets of ten
stretched out

felt good to do something
