Note

Last week the Hamilton Adventure Running Schools Challenge attracted ~1000 kids. Turbo made a film of the top school team: Dalewood.

Awesome job with the movie Turbo.

http://dontgetlost.ca/index.php?option=com_content...

Dalewood won 40 of a possible 60 points and swept the top 5 in the bantam boys and bantam girls category. I think they also had 13 of the top 15 teams in bantam girls. Go to the bottom of this page for a headcam video of the same race. (Last year Dalewood won 45 of the possible 60 points).

What is so awesome about both these videos is seeing the large numbers of kids orienteering!

Orienteering 1:25:00 [3] 10.7 km (7:57 / km) +343m 6:51 / km

Really enjoyed today's course but I took poor routes to #4 and #15. Was running well until the downhill before and after #15 then knees started to hurt and was getting tired. Then was reading 17-18 when I was running from 16-17. Oops. Fun course. Very tired afterwards.
