Despite great ski conditions Etoile suggested I take the day off and go to the gym. Turns out it was what I needed. Three days later the swelling is down and the foot isn't as sore. Great to have some free time to train.
Watched the guys (Griz, Sudden, Meridian, Travellinga) do "Petter's Pyramid" this evening. Now on anti-biotics. Doctor thinks I'll be running by the weekend.
Tried indoor cycling with a brace on the ankle. It is all infected and I can't put any weight on it. Stopped after only 5 minutes because it hurt too much. Here we go again....
THOMASS Chase. A great course with handicap wave chase start. Unfortunately I got a thorn in the ankle and lost the pack trying to get it out. A few hours after the race and I can't put weight on the foot and I'm off to emerg! This has been one &^%*&^ year of bad luck
Great session at Hilton Falls with Granite, Sudden, the Pillar, Grizz, and Snipes. Full-on forked orienteering with short rests. Need more of this training.

Long-easy run (approx 50% in woods). First 60 minutes was orienteering on the GHO CANADA GHO course. Got tired at 1.5 hours. Sprained right ankle again. Swollen. Training with Granite, Sudden and Meridian. Well done JP!
