Austria smokes the most per capita than all Euro countries. Nasty shit that smoke is. Vienna is beautiful, despite the smoke.

Stretching and yoga after the flight while listening to Franz Ferdinand. Music choice seemed appropriate after we did a self guided walking tour of Vienna history in th old town.

the seven versions of rock me Amadeus on Spotify will wait for the Mozart concert night. Our walk was followed by eating our first Wiener schnitzel of the week.

rail trail with Adventure Girl! while she explained the biology of mitochondrial diseases to me. beauty ride on a sunny afternoon. great ride until about 1km from home we both almost got wiped out as a car went through a stop sign. car stopped about 3m from hitting us both. Yikes

Seems odd to not be at the Raid the Rib today. First time I haven't either raced or assisted with course design and putting out flags and SI since this race started in 2003. Bender's on-the-course update yesterday has got to be the best update I have seen for any adventure run or adventure race! Awesome job Bender. Wish I was there (damn knee).

Another almost perfect race navigation wise but lots of knee pain kept me at a jogging pace most of the race. Enjoyed the detailed terrain late in the course.

A flat mostly thick forested race with 20 checkpoints and less than 3K. Perfect! ;-). I was pleased to have had a perfect race with only 4-5 seconds of hesitation in entire race. great flow through the checkpoints. especially pleased to see great results by ARX. fun times at red robin later in the evening with the DGL gang.
