Thanks to pathetic for setting up. Doing that kind of race/training in that terrain and map quality with SI and descriptions once a week or two would make one a very strong runner and orienteer.

Followed by a hike at Yaremko-Ridley.

Note

So the other night I had a dream that every time I got to the 5th CP in this sprint orienteering race (in Shanghai) there was no SI and when I got to the finish line I was told to 'run the course again'. I got faster and faster on each attempt but each time there was still no SI at CP5. Woke up on attempt #4 so still don't know how I did. Strange dream until.....

Tonight Etoile and I watched the Source Code.

Whoa!

Note
(sick)

and the survey says....

The Around the Bay Road Race Expo was an opportunity to get an idea where in the Golden Horseshoe the greatest interest/demand for ARK was for running families outside of Hamilton and K-W. And the winner is........ Halton (Burlington and Oakville). Perhaps that is because of proximity to Hamilton but the rest of the ranking suggests otherwise:

Halton, Niagara, Guelph, Ottawa, London, Barrie, Toronto, Peel, Windsor.

The top three were far ahead of the rest!

Orienteering 1:05:00 [3]

After a busy week of meetings it was super duper awesome to go orienteering on Ancaster Creek with AG! on a sunny warm early afternoon. Hanging some ribbons for the Tour du Marteau corridor training. Fantastic improvements to the map by pi. AG! was a navigation superstar today though her slip off a log into the only bit of open water in a 50m radius was kinda funny. Simply super orienteering though we got stuck in some vines and mud to simulate Flying Pig terrain. Best orienteering of the year so far for us.
