"Big Sound Gula Stigen" (a challenging 500m loop of trail, forest, cliff jumps and more) makes its debut in Nobel. Adventure Girl! kicks off the 500m challenge with a good time running in sandals and jeans and shortly holds the World Record. Then after a swim in GBay by all, AG! goes sub 3 (2:58) and Mattias and Wil battle it out taking World (2:12) and Canadian (2:15) records respectively. I hobble through in 2:37.

Official attempts to set/break the BSGS 500, 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K records is now open. Details coming soon!

Adventure Running Kids spring finale! Lotsa fun and lotsa mud! thanks to all the coaches. great to see we already have 35 kids already signed up for autumn! We will need to do something else on Wednesday nites until September. Finished this evening at Isak's soccer game. Fun.

Paddle the Point Canoe Race with KatieMac. We were doing well and nailed the 360 degree buoy with surprising success but then got T-boned by another team and quickly capsized. Kate and I then just ran the rest of the way since the water was so shallow. Fun to do this race again - it has been a couple of years. Check out the GPS tracking.

Great sprint course by GHOSLO at Bayfront. Got attacked by a red-winged blackbird and ran past an elephant twice! Fun fast nav in the townhouses. Includes warmup and cool down.

ARK in wet and muddy conditions followed by Hockey Night in the Hottage watching TV, Rollin on the IT band and eating lots of chips with the gang. Good times listening to Turbos Treehouse too.

Tired from drive back from Ottawa in a mega rain and lightning storm. But I had satellite radio. Two thumbs up for 1st Wave station. Patriot Talk Radio on the other hand was...um...well a bit of a culture shock.
