Chose long course for the extra training. Tough terrain and I felt it. Definitely not fit/strong enough to attack the long course! Wasn't worried about time but not pleased to let lots of errors and hesitations sneak in. Love Waioneke though - beasty & beautiful.

It wasn't clicking tonight. Worked hard to hold speed and felt I did that. Nav process just a bit untidy in a few too many places. I need to (a) warm up (b) approach with a process focus not a running focus (c) warm down (d) sort recovery nutrition
