Run race 23:00 [5]
shoes: vj's

Mungo bone - Ray retains the Spam award for taping the route for the juniors & not telling the seniors they would have to navigate themselves & not just follow the tapes. As a result, got to the split to be told that "everyone else has gone that way" so I turned into a lemming for a while before deciding to be independent & head back up to the right track. When i caught up to the juniors I decided Hol's race was more competitive than mine, so I supported her run into the finish - she was going well & didn't need much encouragement to keep running.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [2] ***
shoes: vj's

Out with Steve and Simon Hargrave joined us this time, too (or, rather, I joined them). Did the start of the M21L course this time, & it was good fun - Steve showed a big improvement, & Simon picked it up well. The best bit was getting to 7, & me & Steve started getting ready to head back while Simon was busy taking a bearing saying "I want to keep going!". A convert!!!

Circuits 45:00 [3]
shoes: Adidas Response Light

Feeling a bit like GG - 2 training sessions a day!!!
Bad stomach in the hour or so before hand (I'm in trouble if it was last nights salmon - I finished it for lunch today!), & tried jogging with discomfort so decided not to do anything that involved jumping & joggling. Managed to substitute most exercises, it was just the crash mat sprint where I had no inspiration beyond crashing out & resting!

Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]
shoes: vj's

A gentle stop-start run around the M45S course from the Brocton Coppice event a fortnight ago with Steve Cope doing a bit of coaching.
Still not 100%, but not far off, & it was great to be out again, although I did have very wobbly legs at the top of the first hill!
