(injured)

With Hols, once I had worked out that Marks rear Giant wheel wouldn't fit on my bike (with the help of a phone call to Sweden that confirmed I wasn't being a total muppett) and that it was my flat wheel that needed inflating or bust. Managed to get it sorted, & set off up the German Cutting, up to Brocton Coppice ("too steep", but she nearly made it), around the back to the glacial boulder ("too difficult through the heather & gorse"), down into Sherbrook ("too stony & too fast, I don't like this"), down to Stepping Stones "(people have been throwing stones in there, that's why I couldn't ride across it") & back to the German Cutting ("not fair that you can get up the hills & I can't") & home. At least I enjoyed the ride, anyway! Beautiful day for it.
