Cruising round the rogaine with Hilary. She was doing most of the navigating and I was just supervising. Was quite fun!

Cold, cold ride with M on the tandem up Rapaki and along the tops then down Mt Pleasant and home. Did I mention it was cold?
Molly is still hiding from us after keeping us awake half the night crying. It's heartbreaking.

Was going to get up early to go for a run in the new shoes but since I didn't get home from the supermarket until 11pm and then couldn't get to sleep for ages getting up early seemed like a terrible idea. I then thought I could go straight after work but then Abby said she was dropping Molly round not that long after I got home so there wasn't time. Oh well, I'll just become fat, slow and unfit then. But I did ride to work in the rain and, probably more importantly, I have a cat...even if she is hiding from us.

Went to Shoe Clinic to get fitted for some new road shoes since I haven't bought any in years and I clearly look like a slow girly jogger as, when I asked the lady if we could make the treadmill go faster (how about 10km/hr?) so I could actually see what they were like to run in rather than jog at walking pace, she told me that 10 was very fast.

Wed night run, the Katie is having a really bad day edition where they leave before I'm ready, I'm far too slow anyway, my shoes suck really bad on the slick surface so can't even run anyway and then I get so demoralised I decide to go tussock bashing by myself instead and end up getting mildly hyperthermic waiting for M to get back. Yep, this is a good week.
