From the bottom of Longhurst up Latters Spur, along Thompsons and down Harry Ell. My arm was uncomfortable most of the way down the hill (the wrist was fine but the rest of the arm hates me!). Thigh muscles still all funny and I am slow but hey, I'm running!

From Taylors Mistake up to Godley Head and back with HyunJin, Robin and Michael. My thigh muscles are all sore walking downhill...must have been the downhill running on Thursday.

Wow! It's been something like 8 weeks since I last ran...the physio has assured me that you'd have to hit my wrist with a hammer to break it in the same place so I'm allowed to run again (biking is apparently 4-6 weeks away)! Michael accompanied me on a run up Aotea Tce and down Major Aiken with a couple of detours. Downhill was very slow as it was dark and I was terrified of tripping. Yeah, I know he said it would be fine but still, my wrist doesn't currently bend so it would be rather awful. I also discovered that I slightly shake my wrists when I run and to stop this happening you appear to use muscles up by your elbow which were so sore by the end.
