Orienteering race (Living Springs Score Even) 57:30 [3]
shoes: Inov-8 Flyroc 310

Not feeling that flash still but at least my back was letting me run unlike when I tried to run to the supermarket the day before. Pretty easy orienteering and was nice to cruise around. Definitely could have picked up at least one more control before getting to the finish but clearly I was being lazy! The 2 maps thing was quite cool.

Climbing (indoor - TR) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Red Chili Spirit Lady

At the Roxx with Michael. Not feeling all that flash still but better than the last couple of days. Climbing okay though and even made it up the 19 with the huge crack...although that pretty much killed my arms.

Note
(sick)

Still feeling crap which wasn't helped by such a ridiculously early flight. We went for a nice walk in the evening though which was good for my head.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Was supposed to do intervals but feeling like crap in more ways than one.

Wednesday Jan 26, 2011 #

Road Bike 30:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

To and from the gym. It appears I managed to put my bike back together correctly at whatever ridiculous time it was last night so that was good!
6 AM

Run (treadmill) 10:00 [4]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

Just a little burst of speed for fun.

Gym (weights) 40:00 [3]

Not too bad but I am still sore from climbing on Monday (especially my arms)!

Orienteering race (SS - Sacred Heart College) 1:14:36 [3] 9.0 km (8:17 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

Felt like absolute crap about 2 or 3 minutes in, like I was a bit sick or something and it just stuck around making me feel dizzy. Maybe it's all this humidity? Thought about pulling out a few times but plodded on. Man I was slow! Oh, and made some ridiculously stupid mistakes...having 3 maps with 3 different scales really bends your mind.
8 PM

Run warm up/down 7:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

Nice little warmdown with Owen bringing in some controls.

Climbing (indoor - TR) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Red Chili Spirit Lady

At Extreme Edge with Chris. Felt like a bloody epic session and my fingers were spent by the end.
