MTB (mtb) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Out at Woodhill and my first time using clips (clipless, whatever...). Went a lot better than I expected apart from the last fall where one end of my handlebars decided to punch me in the stomach when I forgot to unclip. It does not look pretty and hurts a fair bit but nothing serious. No turning back now! It might have helped to have had a little more than 2 and a half hours sleep but I never learn.

Yoga 1:00:00 [3]

We had a new tutor today and she took a tough class! Felt pretty achey afterwards but mostly in a good way. Was a bit frustrating I had to modify a lot of the positions because of my bung shoulder though.

Run warm up/down 19:54 [3] 4.0 km (4:59 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Running to the gym from home. How did this ever seem like a good idea? Felt slow and my thighs felt real tired (funnily enough) but my legs did feel better by the time I got to the gym. Nice morning. I like how quiet everything feels this early. But I suspect I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. Going to need a nap...

Definitely felt like I picked the wrong morning to run to class...was truly epic. Even the warmup track was hardout! It seems any morning Lincoln is in a good mood he attempts to kill us!

Run 19:42 [3] 4.0 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Home again. Don't know how I made such good time as even the little rise up Great South Road felt like a killer! At least it's a nice downhill stretch to home from there. I was just concentrating on keeping my legs moving one after the other!

Right, back to bed now :)

Orienteering race (SS Western Springs) 1:05:41 [3] 6.4 km (10:16 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

29 controls! Crazy. Allan started about a minute ahead of me but I caught him at the first control (he must have got lost or something). Legs were feeling very tired so I had no speed and keeping up with him was about all I could manage. Stupidly followed his route to #5 but discovered I couldn't get across the creek without incident so I ended up doing what I'd originally planned. Stuffed up the control anyway 'cause it seemed so much lower that it appeared on the map. Owen caught us up and him and Allan got ahead of me so I slowed down a bit since it seemed I had pretty much lost by then and I was tired! When I got to #19 Owen was just exiting. Don't know where he must have went. Allan got to #20 just after me which confused me as I thought they were both miles ahead. We basically hung onto each other for the rest of the course and I claimed victory over both of them! Oh yeah! Was a good course and I think I saw pretty much all of the map you possibly could!

Run 39:27 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

From the gym round the domain a couple of times. It was so muggy and my tummy was feeling awful (weird 'cause it was fine when I got up). Legs were feeling fairly average...thighs still tired especially on the second loop.

Yawn!

Wasn't planning on having such a hard morning but couldn't sleep (and when I did finally fall asleep I got woken up again by my phone going off...the night is for sleeping okay?). Didn't feel like staying in bed any longer and had some excess anger to get rid off so spin seemed perfect. Legs felt pretty good.
