MTB (mtb) 2:30:00 [3]
shoes: Skulls

Cruising round the bike park. Made it out to the far end and rode around some trails I hadn't done before. Managed to sneak in between the showers of rain too which was good. I guess I'm getting better (really trying to relax a lot more on the downhills but I naturally tense up so it's hard work) but was feeling pretty tired so was a bit sluggish and lazy especially on some of the hills.

Peloton (Spin) class intervals 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Lincoln's Skyspin class on the top of a 21 story building at the top of town. It was all four seasons in one hour with every combination of wind, rain and sun possible (who knew you could have sun and rain at the same time!). Awesome fun, sometimes awesome views (when you could see something other than rain and mist), awesome people (mostly our usual Monday/Friday crew) plus it was for charity so there was my good deed for the day! Bikes were a bit different to what we've got at the gym so that took a bit of getting used to though.

Run warm up/down 20:19 [3] 4.0 km (5:05 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

To the gym and the beginning of an epic day. Running on about 4 1/2 hours sleep but felt pretty awake. Felt slow though funnily enough as the body was probably wondering what it had done to deserve this!

Trying not to kill myself. Had a dude bike 'cause Janeane had pinched my usual (one of the clips on it sucked and now my right ankle feels a bit funny). Oh well, was a good class all the same. Debating going to this skyspin thing tomorrow but the weather is supposed to be awful and it was going to be another fairly restful day...hmmmm.

Run 46:36 [3] 8.6 km (5:25 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Home from the gym via OTH summit. Super slow and had to walk large parts of the dirt track up to the summit 'cause it was so muddy and slippery...not that my legs minded the walk! Good to get home though and be greeted by a hyperactive puppy.

Climbing (Indoor - TR) 3:00:00 [3]

With the usual crew. I noticed my right shoe is getting a little hole in it. Might need to get new shoes shortly. Well, guess I can't complain since I got given them. We were all in a funny mood tonight and tired so climbing was tough. But I did the orange 18. Oh yeah. Not sure if I could repeat that move again though. That climb is so relentlessly tough. Completed my first 20 but failed a 17 on the second move and couldn't get past it. Go figure.

Rowing Machine warm up/down 8:46 [4] 2.0 km (4:23 / km)

How I used to go any faster on this I don't know...the first 1000 metres were bearable but after that I was dead and was praying it would just be over soon! Stupid wrist doesn't help.

Gym (weights and core) 1:20:00 [3]

More exhausting than normal. I think I'm still super tired from the long weekend and my sleeping is going downhill again.

Janelle's class which I haven't been to in ages. Good fun and heaps of hill work.

Run (treadmill) 20:00 [3]

Stretching the legs after spin.

Run 30:07 [2] 6.0 km (5:01 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

From Brent's place round one half of Hagley Park. Slow, sluggish but the legs didn't feel so sore afterwards...just a bit tired. Cruised along with Brent riding next to me for the last 2km. Awesome weather.

Climbing (Outdoor - TR) 2:30:00 [3]

Climbing with Brent and his mate at Rapaki on the Port Hills. SO awesome (and so blisteringly hot). Hard work as it was so different to anything I've ever done before but the climbs themselves were fairly easy once I got my head around what I was supposed to be doing. I didn't want to leave but unfortunately had a plane to catch.
