Run 45:15 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Didn't feel up to leaving the house and going orienteering today so ran round the mud track around the edge of OTH. Felt slow and tired but better for getting outside. Couldn't sleep most of last night. It's so quiet here at night you could hear a pin drop. Will be interesting to see if I sleep any worse when the flatmates go away next week as I'm not good with being alone in strange places...hoping I'll get used to it soon.

Run 58:05 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Round the dirt (mud?) track of OTH and up to the summit with Cameron. Fairly cruisey pace so that Cameron didn't die on me (although he did protest at the idea of the summit but still managed to get to the top just fine).

Peloton (Spin) class 45:00 [5]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Real tough class today.

Rowing Machine warm up/down 8:49 [4] 2.0 km (4:25 / km)

Started out fairly slow but picked up speed in the last 800 metres. Felt pretty good.

Gym (weights and core) 1:15:00 [3]

Spent some time working on my shoulder stuff as well as the usual program. Again, feeling pretty good (although the shoulder is a bit sore as usual).

Note

Slept okay last night...not great but I don't think I woke up over the night as I have been doing and was asleep for a respectable number of hours too. Let's see how I go tonight...

Note
(rest day)

Tried to sleep in and failed (was wide awake by 2.30am and never got back to sleep) but made myself stay in bed and at least rest for once. This lack of sleep thing is getting a bit serious but have been given a CD by the chiropractor today which is, apparently, guaranteed to get me asleep within half an hour and keep me asleep - it shall be an interesting test tonight...

Run 54:10 [3] 10.2 km (5:19 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Really didn't want to go out (was hoping it would rain so I could chicken out and go to spin instead 'cause then someone else does your motivation for you!) but it was a pretty nice morning. Wasn't so bad I guess once I got going but my shoulder started aching after about 35 minutes. Still sore. It annoys me.

Rowing Machine warm up/down 8:57 [4] 2.0 km (4:29 / km)

Tough work this morning but pulled it together in the last 800 metres to get under the 9 minute mark. Actually had a not too shocking amount of sleep last night so wasn't tired but feeling really tightly strung so breathing is not the best.

Gym (weights and core) 1:10:00 [3]

The usual...glad when it was over!
