Orienteering race (Promo - Hobbit Woods) 1:24:19 [3] 5.2 km (16:13 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 285

It was a nightmare and the kind of day where I wonder why the hell I orienteer 'cause I suck so much :(. I couldn't concentrate at all and about the only control I actually found without a disaster was the first control.

Okay, so my head is somewhere else at the moment so I really ought not to be so hard on myself.

MTB 2:00:00 [2]
shoes: Skulls

Biked out to Mangere and around the waterfront. Once we got to the old bridge it was really cool and very scenic but until then I was a wreck. I must have a phobia of the roads or something.

Peloton (Spin) class intervals 45:00 [5]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Another ridiculously tough class again. More hill tracks than usual and just more intensity all round. Feel dead now!

Rowing Machine warm up/down 10:07 [4] 2.23 km (4:32 / km)

Felt hard today - was counting down the seconds in my head by the end! But you know it's good for you!

Gym 1:15:00 [3]

Did my new program for the first time and nearly died within about 10 minutes! Luckily the really hard ones are at the beginning so it got a bit easier. Legs feel wobbly now though! Have an appointment with Alex next week to work on the shoulder which is cool.

Orienteering race (Winter Streets - HMB) 1:10:10 [4] 12.0 km (5:51 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

ARGH! I'm such a dumbass! Got 12 in an hour and then saw how far back it was to the start so flagged the last 2 which was the stupidest thing ever since when I got back I noticed they were pretty much on the way back!! I even ran right past one of them! GRRRR. Oh well, it was fun again but mightily confusing with all these little streets and pathways going everywhere. No rain either which was cool. Legs felt frozen and uncoordinated to start with but warmed up after about 15 minutes. I should have done a warm up and I definitely should have done a warm down but it's too late now!

Rowing Machine warm up/down 10:06 [4] 2.27 km (4:27 / km)

I totally intended to go for a run outside after work but just as I started it began to spit big drops of rain so I figured I'd hide out in the gym instead since I really don't want to get sick.

Run intervals (treadmill) 25:00 [4]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

As per my new program - SO hard.

Gym (weights) 10:00 [3]

Yep, grand total of 10 minutes 'cause a wet Monday evening sucks - everybody is using everything and there is no room on the floor even if what you need is available. Grrr...gave up on that.

Gym - Cardio (summit trainer) 10:00 [3]

Whilst waiting to see if anything would become available on the floor...it didn't.

Run hills (treadmill) 20:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Since I'd planned a run with lots of hills and was feeling cheated by the weather I stuck some in on the treadmill - not the same but it had to do.
