Walked round the shoreline and up into Parnell (by then covered with mud especially after having to scale the bank!) with my flatmate to have a break from 'that book'. We passed the chocolate boutique on the way home but neither of us had any money but it was so tempting we came back later (once I'd finished 'that book' of course)!

To the gym and back. Having just got out of bed on rather limited sleep, running straight out my driveway with my camelbak on and up Shera Road felt like torture! That is one steep hill!

A very quiet time to come to the gym early in the morning. Was quite peaceful. Added some challenge to my programme as suggested by one of the staff which made things a little more interesting.

Not a good day at all...wanted to run but decided against it since I wasn't in a good space but needed some fresh air so walked for a while but don't feel like counting that.

This was supposed to be a short run...until I took a wrong turn and didn't properly figure it out until it was too late so I ended up down by the onramps to the motorway 'cause I had no idea where I was (yet again in the dark so I had even less of a clue...but I could see the Sky Tower!). Ended up having to run up through the Domain in the dark (although it was getting lighter by then) to get back as quick as possible. Why did it have to be a morning when everything was planned to a tight schedule?!

First class for the term. Definately seeing improvements. Really big bunch of plebs at the public session afterwards though cutting up the ice in no time which sucked 'cause I was in the groove. Hard to practice when they bowl straight into you.

Went out thinking it wasn't raining...I was wrong! Got wet but it wasn't too bad and I'd dressed a bit too warmly so it cooled me down. Put in some good sprints near the end. It was nice to see a little bit of light in the sky that early in the morning for once! Bring on summer...!

I increased a couple of weights which made parts of the workout a killer but hey, you don't get stronger without pushing yourself a bit. Lost motivation about halfway through. Would much rather be outside.
