Where on earth was my head today?! Controls 1 and 5 were just so shocking it was awful (but the rest I guess was okay). My mood definately affects my concentration and I've been feeling pretty low I guess.

Walked around the same course again with Mum to give her a hand. This was really good to be able to correct what I should have done for controls 1 and 5! Watching Mum attempt to navigate though is enough to make you want to tear your hair out!

I concentrated on just taking it slow with long strides and it was a really good run. I actually think I may have been faster than 1:30 but I didn't have a watch on me so not really sure.

Although no faster than other times, I was really working on getting the style more long and slow which made it less of a painful experience!

Gym (Weights for Arms) 45:00 [3]

Weights were okay, but heavy. The pain in my right shoulder seems to have mostly cleared up. I did some increasing of the weights (or the reps) too which was good.

The run felt really hard today even though it was just the short one. I think I was feeling pretty tight and also a bit sick after that awful breakfast at Denny's!

Began to feel a slight pain behind my right shoulder so I need to watch that. Also a slight pain in my upper left arm where the break was. Things to talk about with the physio tomorrow.

I suck this morning. Have no strength but managed to improve in the last 500m.

My legs felt stiff and I thought that I was dying too much to be bothered with the add-on but I was still dithering over it which meant (as usual) I pushed myself to do it...didn't feel any more dead!

Ice Skating (Lesson) 2:00:00 [4]

First lesson of term 2. Learnt backwards C pushes (should be D pushes considering shape!). Need to straighten up more on my T pushes. Relearning how to do crossovers properly! Gotta work on my confidence otherwise I'm not gonna get anywhere.

Wore my new shoes for their first run this morning. Definately more cushioning but I didn't really notice that until the downhill parts. Running in the dark makes me feel unco!

Felt colder than usual (perhaps 'cause I felt pretty low). Too many skate school kids in the way and making me feel self concious to have a good practice session. I am definately favouring my left leg and still having trouble with keeping my right ankle straight unless I lace boots up really tight which cuts off movement).

God I hate the rower! Can't seem to beat my fastest time (9.32) and feel like I'm just getting slower.

Feeling good today...managed to increase reps and tried a heavier weight on one of the machines (managed 1 set but didn't want to push it). There is a little bit of pain in my upper arm though.
