XC skiing 1:02:17 [1] 8.67 mi (7:11 / mi) +284m 6:31 / mi

A little YAY in Day 2 of Crocker-Allen family isolation. Decided that xc skiing has minimal contact with others, which is true, so we headed up to Teacup Lake. A little harder not wanting to stop at our usual stops for snacks/bathroom, but managed.

It was the coldest day skiing yet, so S wasn't super psyched about being out in it (we've so far managed with 1 layer long undies, 1 layer fleece and her rainsuit). So we just skied up to the cabin and back with her, then Tom stayed in the car and I got a longer ski in.

Costco gas station impressed us on the way back - changing gloves for each customer (because we have no self-serve here in OR). We still wiped down the credit card with a Lysol wipe after though... overkill?

Note

Sylvia was sick the past 2 days with a fever, my classes are going online starting next week, and travel seems to be not a great idea right now.

Sadly, we'll be skipping sprint camp. =(

About to hold my first virtual office hours!

Also, it snowed today in Portland!

Stroller jog/run 35:04 [1] 3.85 mi (9:06 / mi) +69m 8:38 / mi

Slightly longer stroller jog with S. My classes will be fully online as of Monday, seems the right thing to do. We decided against sprint camp, between S's recent illness and coronavirus concerns. Very sad to miss it!

Stroller jog/run 29:09 [1] 3.04 mi (9:35 / mi) +64m 9:00 / mi

Stroller jog with Sylvia after a hectic day. At least her fever broke today.

Yay- company! Ueli was in town. And mentioned I was running at noon to Kyle at our tenure photo-shoot, so he joined too! Sunny beautiful day!

1st positive coronavirus test in Multnomah county (county that contains most of Portland) was just reported today. Hoping it stays contained enough that Reed doesn't have to go to online-only classes...
