Long run, crossed Sellwood bridge and ran north along the river. I think I had to stop only once this whole time for a car. Love the bike paths!!

Did 3x quick up all the hills on the route.

Note

Definitely made 100 mi goal for Jan with 140 miles, didn't quite make time goal with 28.5h instead of intended 30h. Still, much higher and just better volume than I've done recently and so I'm pleased.

The tougher mission will be keeping the trend up in this busy spring semester. But there's a plan to fit in a workout to each school day:
Mon: run before Pilates, Pilates
Tues: Stroller jog to daycare
Wed: Pilates only
Thurs: Stroller jog to daycare or morning run afterwards
Fri: Run before circuits

With that, Wed is essentially my day off. And then weekends need to get the races/longer workouts in. Figure hills, intervals and tempos can fit in during-the-week runs. Here goes!

Interval session before meeting with colleagues about our electronics person search. 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 minutes with half rest. Felt pretty good.

And classes begin! Have 76 students in Physics 101. Lectured on traveling + sinusoidal waves today. Really nice to be able to start from last year's lecture notes.

Posted homework after class, was in a 1 hour telecon during my set-aside-for-working-out time and then did this run. Two 10 min tempos, ending with a swing by the local burrito joint to pick up my online order.

This will be busy, but soooo much easier than last year when I was teaching this class for the first time and Sylvia was 4 months old.
