Hiking 34:20 [1] 1.62 mi (21:13 / mi) +51m 19:20 / mi

Shorter baby hike today, again with Sylvia in K'Tan carrier. Think I had it setup a little better than yesterday. Happened across a yard sale just 200m from our house, scored some winter baby girl clothes that will hopefully be the right size, a tummy time mat and pillow and some little rattles + toys.

Hiking 51:51 [1] 2.58 mi (20:06 / mi) +53m 18:53 / mi

Zigzag between 45th and 39th, but with Sylvia along in a K'Tan carrier, so back ~9lbs heavier again... Back kinda sore by the end. Nice day.

A handful of folks have their Halloween decoration game on for sure!!

Crosstrainer 25:00 intensity: (16:00 @1) + (9:00 @3)

Elliptical intervals! 1-2-3-2-1 minute. The 'off' was at L12 the 'on' at L14 and trying to keep the pace at <7 min/mile. Felt good, nice to breathe harder for the first time in a real long while...

Cycling 10:00 [2]

And on the exercise bike.
9 AM

Strength 14:00 [1]

Core rehab.

Wednesday Oct 4 #

Hiking 1:00:00 [1] 2.3 mi (26:05 / mi)

First Wednesday Mt. Tabor stroll with yoga instructor Shana and crew. Crew being a few women from prenatal yoga class and a few moms with 3-6 month olds. Sylvia was the youngest baby in attendance. I carried her in a wrap-style carrier, so a bit more work to do the stroll, but otherwise it was a very moderate pace. Unfortunately forgot to start the Garmin!

Hiking 10:00 [1]

Yeehaw!! Have never been so excited to use gym machines before. So nice to get a bit more of a workout in.

5 min treadmill @ 6% and 15 min/mile
5 min elliptical @ level 12
5 min stairmill @ 68 spm
5 min bike @ level 12

All felt good. Stairmill probably raised HR the highest. Visited Pilates class afterwards just to say hi for now, they were all happy to know baby happened + all went well! Look forward to going after a bit more core rehab.

Crosstrainer 5:00 [1]

Cycling 5:00 [1]

Sunday Oct 1 #

Strength 15:00 [1]

Core rehab: pelvic tilts, heel slides, bridges, eighth crunches, crabs, side leg lifts and half-side planks.

Also walked to brunch at 55th and Woodstock at Bergerac for our anniversary, but it was a quite slow pace with Tom carrying Sylvia, so won't count...
