Felt much better running than a few days ago

Surprisingly not too sore from last time- little afternoon ski around the neighborhood!

First time rollerskiing in a long while- think I was doing just a bit before the Birkibiner in March? When for a skate around the neighborhood. Felt ok, sure I'll be a bit sore as I haven't used those muscles in awhile though!

Saw a baby turtle on the road, went back to rescue it, but it was already dead. =(

Neighborhood joggeroo, before jetting off to the city to see Maria and Nick. Felt not too fast, but very happy to be out. Wierd foot pain seems to be gone- woo!

Spent nearly all day buying a car. Then got back and mom decided it was time for dinner. So I did 8 min abs while the water for the pasta boiled... Foot pain still around, but feeling better.

Note

Not sure why, but my foot is really sore- outside forefoot. Have really no clue why, but have felt similar but not so bad pain before. Will go easy, no need to make things worse. Time to travel home to Poughkeepsie!

Intervals! So nice to do them with Graeme, much easier to push. But I got a bad cramp halfway through, which was a bit of a bummer.

Port Meadow run in the morning- went out to the Abbey via nature reserve, then back, good to get a run in! Was soooo sore again from Hanna's exercises at circuits for the past 2 days....

Easy run with Graeme around South Parks after an aborted bike ride attempt- we were going to head out to Brill (nice 2hr ride), but I fell off my bike while in a standstil (clip-in pedals!) so a bit too much skin was missing off my hand....

London City Race

Woo! First time orienteering in ages it felt like. I came in third to Sarah Rollins and Helen Bridle, which sounds good, but they did get me by around 9 minutes! I was a bit slower just running around (need to ramp up the training again!) and the Barbican really got me again- I just have no ability to tell what level is which and how to get from one to another! Argh.

Really good fun though!
