Paddled the Thunder K1 tonight. Struggled with balance on the way out due to a stiff tail wind, but after turning it was much better. I was also struggling with my foot position which was throwing my balance of a bit. I ended up stopping and adjusting the rudder lines to center the tiller bar, after hat it was even better. I finished with 4 x 200 m as fast as I could, and most of them were actually pretty good. A quick glance at my Garmin 305 showed > 6.5 mph :) If I could do that from the start it would be awesome. This boat is so fast, and I am finally starting to feel like I can almost paddle it somewhat properly.
