Note
slept:8.0 (sick)

woke up with a nasty sore throat and mild fever this mng. Thats sucks, but Im really lucky I havent got anything before as everyone at work has been coughing and sneezing for weeks now.

Cycling 1:50:00 [2] 25.0 mi (4:24 / mi)

very easy bike ride.

Kayaking 1:10:00 [1] 5.0 mi (14:00 / mi)

Very easy paddle in the Thunder. Struggled with balance as I havent paddled the thunder for maybe 2 weeks? But by the end of the session I was feeling much more comfortable. I still cant figure out why my right hand is so far out when its my Off hand? Something strange is going on. I need some video analysis to figure out what he problem is?

Kayaking 2:00:00 [3] 10.2 mi (11:46 / mi)
ahr:107 max:139

Kayak race class.

HR stats dont tell a fair picture as we were doing intervals 4 minutes on, 15 second rest, repeat 4 times, then 5 minute rest. Do that 4 times over.

During the work time my speed was between 6.5 and 7 mph :) and my HR was around 130-135.

Conditions were rough for the South end of the lake, so I paddled an Orion with the Low seat. I must be getting used to this as I didnt have any problems with tight hip flexors today :)

slept:7.0

tired again this morning, plus my allergies are bad :( And my eyes are sore, either from splashed water from kayaking yesterday, or the cold breeze while cycling last night? Maybe a combination of both and a good dose of sweat? Maybe their just sore from the allergies as well?

Running 1:36:00 [3] 10.0 mi (9:36 / mi)
ahr:132 max:154 shoes: Adidas

was going to run 9, but ended up going to 10 :) Fueled with Perpetuem from the start, sipping every 15 minutes. Also 2 x Endurolytes per hour at 15 and 45. Felt better (more even energy) than last time although was going slower. Still a little to fast as I was worn out by the time I finished.

Note

was going to kayak after run, but to tired again. Took the easy way out and went to bed early :) instead after eating anything I could lay my hands on at home :(

Note
slept:8.0

Really tired last night. The mid day run at higher HR and temp really took it out of me. Need to keep everything down in Z1-2 for longer workouts!

Kayaking 1:09:00 [2] 6.6 mi (10:27 / mi)
ahr:113 max:129

Paddled the Delphine the usual route from Kenmore towards Woodinville. The river was covered in muck again, which meant I was continuously dragging big clumps of weed until I stopped to get them of the bow :( Still a good paddle on another beautifull day :)

Cycling 1:27:00 [3] 25.0 mi (3:29 / mi)
ahr:125 max:141

Ended up riding much later than I had planned as I had to take Eleanor on an emergency shopping trip for her field day tomorrow. I started out at about 20:30 (8:30 pm) and had my lights (with a flat battery) Good job I took my headlamp as well. Finished around 10 and it was completely dark by then. The ride was great. Very few people on the trail, but it was cold, not really cold, but a little to cold for the short sleeves and shorts I was wearing. But it wasnt raining, so it was a great ride anyway :)

20/20 10 week check today. Plus run and an easy paddle

Running 1:27:25 [3] 9.0 mi (9:43 / mi)
ahr:142 max:152 rhr:42 slept:7.5 weight:166lbs shoes: Adidas

Increased the distance of my short runs to 9 miles. maybe not the best day to do that the first time as the weather is really nice. That made it pretty HOT, which added quite a bit of stress, plus I pushed the pace up a bit to see how I felt after 9 miles at a higher HR. Wasnt bad, but afterwards I was pretty tired.

Note

Was going to kayak tonite, but am tired after my run, and got stuck at work till 6:30 :(

Cycling 1:23:00 [3] 25.0 mi (3:19 / mi)
ahr:138 max:176 rhr:141 slept:7.5

Kayaking 1:06:00 [1] 6.5 mi (10:09 / mi)
ahr:105 max:123

easy Z 1 paddle from Kenmore towards woodinville. Avg speed upstream and into the wind was 5.7 , downstream and with the wind was 6.2 . Next time I need to push harder. This HR level is the bare minimum for getting any training benefit. Although the technique workout was great !
