Warmup. Not because I particularly wanted to win but, after this morning’s run, I didn’t want to injure myself either.

Running (Road) 22:00 [3]

DRC club “5K”. (Course was intentionally heavy). I did end up “winning”, but everything about this event is in quotes. Good time had by all.

In to work via bus. Still no pain in the knee, but not much confidence, either.

Running (Road) 2:05:00 [2]
shoes: Zante 3

Home from work at 50-mile pace (100-mile pace without the walk breaks). Knee seems to be OK.

Knee isn't hurting, but I don't think it's quite right either. So, I took the powerline route home at 100-mile pace, complete with walk breaks. Didn't make things worse.

Running (Road) 25:00 [1]
(rest day) shoes: Excite 4

Leaving the injury flag off for the moment, but whatever has been wrong with my knee got a whole lot worse yesterday. Bugged me a bit at near the end of the run and then really got bad in the afternoon. I slept with it wrapped and woke up this morning in slightly better shape, but running was still out of the question.

Went for a walk at CC Lake after work to loosen it up. If I have to miss another day, I'll start treating it like a legit injury (which I guess would include finding out what's actually wrong).
