Terrain (Trail) 2:55:00 [2] ***
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat2

Found Expedition Loop (short version of Lost Expedition). Lewis & Clark serpentine, Katy, short route through Lost Valley, and back to the mound on Hamberg. Not particularly hot for June but, given yesterday’s effort, the pace was quite slow.

DRC Wine run: Katy from Dutzow to Treloar and back, then over to Blumenhoff for wine. Ran with John Cash for the easy dozen and the first mile of tempo, which was certainly helpful for dialing in the pace. As he had just run Greenrock last evening, he then dropped off to leave me to finish the firm stuff on my own. So fine!

Running (Road) 1:10:00 [2]
shoes: Zante 3

In to work. First of the summer AM heat runs: doesn’t end at work, but rather the Circle K a mile from work where I get their giant drink for 89 cents and then walk the rest of the way (not included in time) to cool down.
6 PM

Running (Track) 1:15:00 [4]
shoes: FastTwitch 7

5x1000@3:45 go on 9:00 with FFTT.

Turning the sick flag off as this is pretty much what I would have expected to run.

Running (Road) 1:40:00 [2]
(sick) shoes: Zante 3

Home from work.

Continued improvement with the cold. Spending as much time as possible outside (90-100F) seems to help. As does getting enough sleep. Even odds for being able to run intervals tomorrow.
