Rocky Raccoon. First 75 miles. First lap in a respectable 4:24, but blew up my quads doing it. Just no way to get through all those roots heel striking, and heel striking is what I do in long events. Second lap I switched to walking the super rooty sections which resulted in a 5:30. Still not terrible, but even that wasn't working on lap three. Got back a little before 11PM (17hours) and must have looked as bad as I felt because the med staff pulled me off the course. Spent the next hour in the med tent getting myself back together.
