I had to leave my car at the repair shop in west county, so I took my bike to ride back home. Inspired by Hamilton's escape in the Tour yesterday, I first hammered a couple good sized climbs then crunched a big gear all the way home.

Upper belt class. Everybody who passed got a new belt today (I'm now Green). Then we drilled our new forms followed by line kicks.

SLOC meet at Carondelet (1:5). Format for the advanced course was that you had to memorize the entire course before going out (you could come back and check the map on the clock if you wanted). Time doesn't count around a minute of looking at the map at the start. Did the first half cleanly, but then had trouble remembering some of the details. 1st overall.

Score course from last year's meet at Laumeier (1:5). Serious brain fade at the end resulted in some strange errors.

AM. Castlewood with Dave & Ken. Rode all the trails. Dave pulled a digger on the last descent of the day and busted himself up. No major injuries.

Hash run. I was the only regular Up Front Bastard, so I spent a lot of time looking for the trail. Afterwards a drunk Harley dude wanted to fight me. He didn't seem too tough, but I don't like to fight folks who are obviously past feeling pain. Fortunately, the rest of the hash showed up not too far behind me and he decided to take his beef elsewhere.

Wed & Thur were crazy days at work trying to get the project finished. Today I was too tired to do much of anything except light fuses (which I did a lot of).
