Running (Road) 50:00 [2]
shoes: NB481

Only fallout from yesterday appears to be some tenderness in the Achilles, spreading down into the plantar. A predictable reaction to a bunch of hills without warning. Anyway, I needed to run relatively flat today, which is not an easy thing to lay out when your start/finish is Ithaca College. Decided to try looping Treman Lake. About 50 feet on the Bear trail was enough to realize that continuing that plan without screws or spikes would be basically flipping off the injury gods after they had given me a pass; the trail was all lumpy half-melted ice. So, I looped the lake on roads, which isn't such a bad route except for the last mile back on the highway.

Another nice day, the Achilles stopped squawking by mid run, and the highway wasn't that busy. So fine!
