Saturday Feb 20 #

11 AM

running 45:00 [2]

On West Campus. Snow melting but still plenty of snow in the shade and woods.

orienteering 20:00 [2] ***

A short course on the West of Ulrik's map on West Campus. Fun.

I was a little bit overdressed for the temp.

Thursday Feb 18 #

running 30:00 [2]

Wednesday Feb 17 #

other 10:00 [1]

Snow shoveling.

other 30:00 [1]

Enough snow to get out the skis and shuffle around a bit.

Tuesday Feb 16 #

Planned to jog tonight, but went for a walk on West Campus instead.

Did my usual morning walk at about 7 a.m. with the temp at -19F. No wind, so it wasn't uncomfortable.

7 a.m. was also when the power went out. The "30-60 minute" rolling black out turned out to be 6 hours. It is stressful having no power and no idea when it will come back. There were 3 times when the power came back for about 53-5 minutes. That's enough to make you think everything is back to normal.

Monday Feb 15 #

other 15:00 [1]

Shoveling snow.

I walked on West Campus after work. Cold (-2F). As usual, it was fine but a bit cold in the windy areas.

Today I didn't see fresh tracks on West Campus. And the only tracks in our neighborhood were from my lunch walk.

Sunday Feb 14 #

running 55:00 [2]

Shuffling around on West Campus. It was cold (3F) and the wind was cold. But, once you were out of the wind it was fine. I was slightly overdressed. We had some new snow and snow fell while I ran. I was a little surprised to see some other footprints on the trails.

other 15:00 [1]

I shoveled the driveway and sidewalk + Edward's sidewalk.
