PTOC at Fleming Park East - Lake Jacomo.
Fun, but kind of junky woods. It was hard to get moving consistently. You'd get some nice woods, run for 75 meters, then run in to a bunch of thorns or thick woods. That kind of stuff is easier when you are fit.
I had a strange mistake. I ran way too far and wasn't making sense of the map. When I stopped, I realized I'd run a good 250 meters on a leg that was only about 150 meters.
I spent most of today in a hotel conference room for audit training. So getting outside felt very nice. One of the common genres for audit training is the guy who committed a big fraud, got caught, did time and is now sharing various lessons. That was today's session. It was ok. Not fantastic, but pretty good.
Mary and I went out to Rockhaven. I drew a course for Mary and I ran the same course but in reverse order. I added a little extra to get the total running time up to 40 minutes.
The woods and trails at Rockhaven are rough.

The river trails and Clinton were open for biking. I figured the little single track by home would be in good shape. I biked over there and discovered that it was not in good shape - lots of mud. I stuck to the Lawence Loop plus a little side trip by the Baker Wetlands.
