Note

KU class at Edwards Campus. I had a light teaching load for this module of the course.

I did a little bit of fieldchecking on a sprint map of the KU Edwards Campus.

Dinner with Mary, Mom and Ron afterwards.

MTB cycling 1:00:00 [1] 16.16 km (3:43 / km)

MTB on the river trails after work. Fun and feeling a little less rusty than earlier this week.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. Some wind made it seem pretty cold on the bike.

I entertained myself on the trip home by counting drivers on their phones instead of paying attention to what they were supposed to be doing (and noting bad driving as a result). I was most disappointed by a LKPD officer driving and yacking on the phone while drifting around the street.

running 25:00 [2]

Jogging on West Campus. Some of the time on the trails.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute.

Some of the roads on my commute are in noticeably worse condition than a year or so ago.

rowing 20:00 [1]

Plan was to run, but I just felt lazy. So, I did a little bit of something on the rowing machine.

Note

WTWT. One hour each way.

I listened to s Swedish biathlon podcast. That was kind of interesting.

MTB cycling 1:00:00 [1] 15.87 km (3:47 / km)

An easy MTB ride on the river trails after work. I needed a lamp, but only for the last few minutes.

I turned around after a couple of minutes and went back to the car to get warmer gloves.

I added some trails to OSM that weren't shown, including the Sugar Loop.

I designed a long-ish course that used both Rockcrusher and Rockhaven. I kept the physical effort easy. The map reading intensity wasn't especially high.

The first hour of the course was relatively flat (100 meters of climb), but the second hour was hillier (200 meters of climb).

Much nicer weather than yesterday with the temp in the low 50s and a cooling wind blowing from the north.
