Note

Nice hike at Point Reyes. I met a bunch of Mary's cousins. Apparently I'd met some of them before, but I have no memory of that. I think we covered around 7 miles. Fun.

running 1:10:00 [2]

Kartlek with a karttapullautin map of Tomales Bay State Park. I wasn't sure how KP would handle the vegetation. It did very well. The trails, from OSM, were good.

The high tide meant the trail was under water at a few parts.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. Warm (50+ in the morning) and with a wind from the east. Chilly (low 40s) and with a wind from the west for the trip home.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. I'm getting tired of not having real winter weather. The temp for the trip home today was above 50F. That's crazy.

running 25:00 [2]

Jogging on West Campus. I felt ok after about the first 10 minutes.

orienteering race 1:10:00 [4] ***

PTOC red course at Blue and Grey Park. Tom Hanley set a good course - made use of the park without making it too miserable. B&G is a park where it is really easy to set a very miserable course.

I had an ok run. I had a couple of times on the middle of the leg where I got confused/uncertain. It felt like something was off with my mind when I was trying to make sense of trails. I also wasn't pushing very hard. Bill Self would probably have criticized my toughness.

We had a decent OK turnout - me, Sandy. Eric S., and Fritz.
