PTOC event at Kill Creek. Paul C managed to set a course with some differences from the usual Kill Creek courses and kept us in generally pleasant terrain. I had a couple of small bobbles. For the most part I was navigating well (I can feel the benefit of last weekend's events in getting my thinking to work).

Running felt surprisingly good. Usually that means I was loafing.

Work commute.

We had our geo awareness week event on the KU Lindley Hall map. It seemed to go well. We learn something every year and the event gets better and runs smoother. It was nice to have sunny and chilly weather instead of last years wind, rain and cold.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. I should have jogged after work. I didn't. I was just lazy.

Resting on Monday and Tuesday was prudent - today was lazy.

QOC mass start ultra-long. My best navigation of the weekend. Still some sloppiness but an improvement.

I tried to run a bit easy to the spectator control and then pick things up if I could. That worked ok.

I probably didn't eat/drink enough during the race. The young West Pointer I saw a lot blew me away the last 800 meters.

I felt more comfortable with the map today than yesterday.
