Single track at Clinton. I hadn't biked these trails in a long time and was expecting to struggle with the roots and rocks. But, I felt good and I seem to be better on the trail now than I was last fall. I'm gradually getting better at holding my pace through a rougher spot and at not getting so fixated on a bit of tricky stuff that I'm not ready for the next rough spot. I've still got a long ways to go to build technique, but it was nice to feel better than expected.

I locked my bike, changed my shoes and did some running on the trails.
I took a fall and I'm pretty much sore all over right now. Left hip, lower left ribs, left knee, right elbow and right hand. The ribs aren't bad, which is really good news. The right hand was sore enough that I had trouble shifting the bike on the way home. It could have been worse.
I managed to finish the run without falling again.
