Work commute. I took a detour in the morning to meet with the Fire Chief. When that meeting was over, it was raining and I was pretty much dripping by the time I reached the office.

Slow jogging on the trails at Clinton overlook. The trails are a bit muddy - sticky mud that collects on your shoes.
I was a bit late leaving work to attend a study session on the budget. I realized (or realized it for the umpteenth time) that I view the world in a different way than most people.
At home I had to mow the lawn and make dinner. I decided to skip my planned run (which was just going to be a jog to the grocery store to buy some veggies).
After dinner we spent some time booking places to stay on our trip. Fun.

Trail run at Clinton. Mary, Ulrik and I went to Clinton and ran from the beach parking lot. At the start I asked Ulrik how slow he was planning to run. "The question should be how fast are you going to run." So I started at a harder effort than I would on my own. After about 25 minutes, Ulrik said he was going to the campground restroom. I said that I'd slow down and run on my own, but he said, "No, no, keep up the pace." And I did - taking advantage of a rare cool day (cloudy and temp in the 60s). The pace isn't especially impressive, but keep in mind that the trail can be rough and I'm old and slow. The effort was good and I was satisfied that I was able to hold the effort fairly steady.
It is interesting that the climb from Attackpoint (which uses some sort of correction based on the GPS track, I think) is much less than the climb from the watch (which uses a barometer). The watch climb totals 278 meters.
