running 50:00 [2]

Some road, some trail, some thigh deep grass, and some beach sand on today's run. I finished with some wading in the waves.

running 55:00 [2]

River trail run with Eelgrassman, Dick N., MeanGene and Jenny. Fun but a bit hot out there.

On the way to the trail, Jenny mentioned that she was dropping a course and planned to add a course. One of her apartment-mates' advisors was teaching a course that she'd add. Her advisor was a guy named George who taught a course on Geography of Wine. I thought that sounded like a great idea and that she might even be able to get some extra credit for orienteering in that class.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. Long day at work as I had to present at the CC meeting. I biked home in the dark at about 9:30. That's not as late as usual for a CC meeting and the town was busy with all the students back.

Note

Took the day off. I didn't even bike to work (because I had to fix a flat on my commuter bike and the patch kit I had was old - the glue was all dried out). At lunch I bought a new tube (plus an extra tube for the new MTB which has 29 inch wheels).

Also, Olav Lundanes' presentation on sprint orienteering looks interesting:

Trail run at Clinton overlook.

MTB cycling 1:15:00 [1]

Finished running and hopped on the MTB. I biked out on the lower trail to the far boat ramp and then took mostly roads back to the Corps Office. Fun. I could tell I was getting tired towards the end of the single track portion because it was taking a lot of concentration to keep from crashing when the trail got a bit rough. I'm definitely getting better at trail riding.

3 (1 for the run, 1 for the bike, and 1 for 90+).
