running 1:30:00 [2]

Trail run at Clinton. I took it slow. The weather was reasonable and I felt better than expected. My right calf tightened up a bit from about 30-45 minutes, then it loosened up and was ok (but not normal) the rest of the time.

running 1:00:00 [2]

This was pretty tough. I ran right after work on the river trails. The temp was something above 100F. I started slow and kept it slow.

I amused myself on the run by thinking about how the MTB orienteering course might work.

Heat is back. Work commute. Thought about running to do grocery shoping, but decided to drive instead. Lazy.

Work commute. That feels like enough for today.

SPROUT is done for the year and I think it performed pretty well.

cycling 30:00 [1]

More mtb riding in the middle of the afternoon heat. I was out for 75 minutes, working on fieldchecking the MTB O' map. I'll call it 30 minutes of biking.

I think the area will work well for some simple MTB orienteering.

2 (I'm giving myself a point for O' technique).

Re-watching the WOC sprint final TV coverage. We bought the online coverage for the day and it was ok. But, I'm watching the NRK coverage and it helps to have a bit of interesting commentary on top of the video. The remote helicopter camera is very cool.

Biking to/from Clinton overlook. I got out of the house before 8. That's good because it feels like it is going to get hot today. It's also good because was home in time to catch the last hour or so of the live TDF coverage.

running 25:00 [2]

Running at the overlook on the trails. My right calf is feeling strange (ever since Friday night), but it didn't seem to get any worse.
