A sprint score orienteering by PTOC at Stocksdale Park in Liberty.

By rule we had to stay on trails. That made for some interesting route choices. It was also nice because it meant we didn't have to bash through the thick forest.

I struggled physically. Breathing was difficult. Even at my best I have some breathing difficulties ("decreased airflow at 80 percent capacity" or something like that), but it was unusually bad today. Probably due to allergies.

I got all but one control. Matt B. got them all.

Angie had also planned a sprint course using some of the same controls (and with the same rule about staying on the trails). Fun.

Row, row.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute.

running 40:00 [2]

I ran on the trails at Clinton. I felt pretty good, but I also felt like 40 minutes was enough.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute.

I had a long work day and wasn't home until 11:30.

The CC meeting when long because one item drew a lot of public comment:

Though, another issue was quite interesting:

Monday Sep 26, 2011 #

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. Cold enough in the morning that I was decked out in 66 North. Warm enough in the afternoon that I was in shirtsleeves.

running 50:00 [2]

Easy, mindless jogging on the trails at Clinton. My foot was fine.

Note

Can't say it is my favorite quote....
