My leg (mostly the calf) feels a lot better today, but still not right. My current plan is to give it a day off. That's kind of a bummer because the weather is really nice (cool and cloudy) today and the forecast for tomorrow is hot.
Note
I did some field checking at Daisy Hill. I'd have done more but the drizzle got a bit heavy.
I did an easy jog on the trails at Clinton. I wanted to see how muddy the trails would be. They weren't too bad.
The run was fine until about 10 minutes to go. Suddently my right leg started hurting. I don't have any idea what happened. I didn't step in a hole or on a root or slip. One minute I felt fine, the next step my leg started hurting. I walked a bit and then shuffled slowly in. The leg is still sore/tight.
Work commute. The last two days I've been lucky with the weather - avoiding the big storms during my rides. But, the trip home today was when my luck ran out. I was soaked by the time I got home. I thought I'd make it ok. We had big storm around lunch time (when Mary was waiting out the tornado at her office) and it looked ok at about 4:45. But then the rain started.
Work commute. I had some concern about the weather, but the storms held off (looks like they'll be arriving soon juding by the green sky and approaching thunder).

Quickly headed out the door when I got home and ran on West Campus. I threw in 10 minutes at an honest effort (distressingly slow, but the effort was ok).
