cycling 30:00 [1]

Mary and I rolled around on some of the bike paths. Really fun.

When I got back, I mowed. I didn't mow the back because there is hardly any grass and the grass that is there seems ok. The rest of the yard took just 10 minutes. That's a lot less than our old house. I like it.

cycling 50:00 [1]

Commuting to/from work. The annual return-of-the-students is starting. That means more strange drivers. Gotta be extra careful while biking.

cycling 55:00 intensity: (30:00 @1) + (25:00 @2)

Commuting on the bike. From the house to work. From work to the apartment for some final junk. For some reason I was completely drained by the last ten minutes of the trip to the apartment. It wasn't hot or anything. Just felt super tired when I got there. Oh well.

Another packing day. Tonight is the last night in our short-term-lease apartment. Feels really good.

Planned to do a short run. Thought better of it. Need to pack the apartment for the move.

Note

No training today. Instead, we spent a good bit of time at the new house. Began with reversing the refrigerator door so that it would swing open in the opposite way. Got about half way through when we looked at the instruction book. It had a section on how to reverse the door. Wait a minute, it has a note about how to reverse the door on a stainless steel model. See page 21. Go to page 21. "Doors on stainless steel models can't be reversed." Doh! Put the door back on. When this refrigerator needs replacing, we'll get one with the door that swings the way we want (or at least one that can be reversed). Got plenty of cleaning done. The previous owners didn't trash the place or leave it a mess. But it needed a bit of cleaning. It will feel good to move in later this week.
