cycling 1:20:00 [1]

MTB on the roads. I did parts of the bunny loop (but not the whole loop) and explored a bit. I went by the Harley plant. I'd known roughly where it was, but I'd never been by it before.

orienteering 30:00 [2] ***

I ran the course I set for Mary at Bonner Park. Felt slow but concentrated reasonably well. I used the PTOC map - they mapped nearly all of the trees which gives you plenty of features to look at (though it is a bit confusing because the contours are off).

On the trainer. I watched "Cops." It reminded me of the old days....I think it must be a good 12 years since my first (and hopefully last) car chase.

running 30:00 [2]

Jogged around at PNS. I saw lots of the usual animals. I also saw a strange behaving Turkey. It was sitting in the middle of the trail with its head waving back and forth. As I got near, it stood up, walked off the trail, and sat down in the weeds. Strange.

On the trainer in the air conditioning. Some strange feeling in the right knee.

running 25:00 [2]

Jogged at PNS. Hot and humid out. Legs felt pretty good.

I was in meetings from about noon to 4, so I was a bit mentally worn out.

running 1:30:00 [2]

I went to Wyandotte and shuffled up/down the big hill. Not especially hot, but quite humid (made me think of the photos I saw of sweat drenched orienteers in Ukraine). I met a few runners - presumably trail nerds - on the horse trail and thanked them for clearing some of the spider webs for me.

My calf felt much better than it has for a week. I sensed a little bit of tightness, but that was so minor that it might have been my imagination.

I got home and checked the web for results. No, not the WOC results (I checked those before I ran)..the Omanager results. I was happy to see my teams finishing 14th and 12th. The 14th was especially satisfying (luck?) because 2 of my top men are out (one sick, one injured).
