running 1:55:00 [2]

Easy jog on the trails at Smithville/NW of Paradise. Warm (50s) but rainy. The trails were a little muddy, but not bad at all.

just a little bit of something

running 1:10:00 [2]

Jogging around with the headlamp at PNS. My shoulders/back felt stiff (in part because I had the battery holder set so that the battery was lower on my back, felt better once I shifted it a bit). Warm -- nearly 60s. Yuck.

Note

I thought about riding the trainer and watching some of tonight's KU b-ball game...but, instead I think I'll drink some Port and have a bit of dark chocolate.

a little bit on the trainer....Still watching the KU-BC game on tape. It is a fun game to watch. Several times I rewound the tape a bit and watched a play more than once.

running 1:30:00 [2]

Easy jogging, mostly on trails, at Clinton SP. I saw a couple of eagles.

By the end my legs were feeling heavy and I was hungry.

I ran a control picking course in the middle of my trail run. Fun. I was concentrating well and moving ok. My right ankle gave me no problems (ran without the active ankle).

running 25:00 [2]

Easy jogging to/from the car at Bonner Park.

running 15:00 [4]

I ran my Bonner Park test loop in 15:13. Felt so-so. I think my motivation was shot after watching the NY Giants play football. I don't watch many full games of football, maybe twice a year. This was not a good game to watch from start to finish. Oh well.

The test loop running felt so-so. I wasn't concentrating very well. When that happens I tend to run the middle 4-5 minutes a bit too easy. On the plus side, my legs felt fairly good - not too shot at the end and they felt reasonably good in the last 5 minutes.

In the middle 5 minute section I met a dude with two off-leash dogs - one of them was square headed (the dogs, that is, I didn't check the head shape of the dude with the dogs).

I'll go over and add my splits to the split list to see how this run stacks up against previous efforts on the test.

Watched a bit of the KU-BC game (taped it yesterday). Fun game to watch.
