running 12:00 [1]
(injured)

Jogged around the neighborhood.

cycling 1:00:00 [2]

Did a couple of laps of the road at Wyandotte on the mtb. I pushed it a bit, having had so little physical work the last two weeks. It felt good mostly. Nice day to be riding - mid 60s and sunny and some wind.

On the trainer in the basement and felt really good.

I'm going to try another jog (probably 10-15 minutes) tomorrow. I'll probably also take the mtb out for a ride on the roads.

I put on the active ankle and went out and jogged for a mile. It felt ok. I hope it feels ok when I wake up tomorrow.

I didn't run today. My ankle/foot was sore, stiff and swollen this morning. I figured some time on the trainer would be ok and it was. I'll try to run tomorrow.

running 10:00 [1]

I went jogging. I'd jog about 100 meters and then walk 50. I was trying to run without limping. I think that I was jogging ok. I covered a bit less than a mile. I think I'll try the same thing tomorrow.

After my jog, I did my exercises.

cycling 30:00 [1]

I rode the trainer in the basement and it felt great. I still have some stiffness and swelling in the ankle, but riding didn't feel bad at all. It felt very nearly normal.

I'm thinking about trying to jog a little bit tomorrow.

I went for a walk/hike at Clinton SP. I probably shouldn't count a walk as training, but there you go.

I wore an active ankle and my ankle felt mostly ok.

I carried the map and read it quite a bit. It is remarkable how much the trails have changed. The mountain bikers have made a lot of little changes -- shifting the point the trail crosses streams, for example.

other 20:00 [1]

Leg strength exercises.

The measured swelling was the same today as yesterday.

I had another sound night of sleeping.
