Street O' in Lawrence. Gene designed a score O' in west Lawrence (the map covered the town west of Kasold). I started easier than I have in the past and kept a steady pace the entire time. I felt decent until the last 15 minutes. All the pounding from the roads wasn't fun -- my right calf and left hip felt sore. But, the course was really nice and we had cool weather. The cool weather was great for running. The continuous rain wasn't much trouble. I climbed 1820 feet.
Note
I always look forward to putting in the time for a long run at the end of a decent week. It is satisfying to see the total. This week I hit 8:07. Great!
Then I look at the front page and I'm 6 minutes behind Peter. It is tempting to go out for a 7 minute run.
I jogged around on the trails at PNS. It was nice to be in the park, but the heat and humidity weren't especially fun. I took it easy and took a short break for water every 20 minutes.
I shuffled (maybe even waddled?) around the roads at Wyandotte. I didn't feel especially good. I climbed 720 feet. A few years ago I'd have thought of this as a hilly run, but after experimenting with more hill training (and wearing a watch that tracks climb), I realize it isn't very hilly at all.

I had my MTB with me at Wyandotte. When I was done running, I went around the lake and then explored some of the nearby roads. Fun.
