cycling 1:00:00 [2]

Perfect day for a bike ride -- cool temp and no wind (though the wind is just beginning to pick up as I sit at the computer and type in my training). I explored Air World a bit, which was fun.

I jogged around at Bonner Park with the map. I wanted to decide if the map would be ok for a sprint race. I made the map a few years ago as a "training" map (not an "orienteering" map). I think a couple of hours of checking and it'll be acceptable. So, pending permission from the park, Mary and I will host an OK sprint event at Bonner Park (probably in mid/late August).

cycling 30:00 [1]

Easy time on the trainer while the dough rises for my official pre-TJOC pizza.

running 1:15:00 [2]

My normal Wyandotte run. It was fun. I ran without my altitude watch, but it felt like 1300 feet of climb.

cycling 30:00 [1]

Some easy cycling. When I woke up this morning my left knee was quite sore. I wonder what that was all about? It feels fine now.

running 25:00 [2]

I jogged around at PNS a bit. I cut it short so I could have plenty of time to mow the lawn.

I ran at Wyandotte. I took it fairly easy. My legs felt a little dead for the first 35 minutes, then I felt fine. I climbed 2000 feet.

Note

Normally, I'd spend some time on the trainer in the basement, watching the Giro D'Italia on TV.

But, my sisster is graduating from KU today and I'll be in Lawrence. (Peggy, does that make you feel old?).
