I tested Fritz's Kansas Champs course at Tall Oaks. I worked reasonably hard, but a tick below an honest effort. Nice day and the forest was much more runnable than last time I was out at Tall Oaks with Snorkel.

I jogged around Fritz's white course and checked out a few extra spots.

I rode my MTB on the roads. I went - via the bunny loop - up to the fire station near the AA maintenance base and back. Nice ride.
Jogging from the car to the start, then from the finish back to the car.

Snorkel and I ran a night O' course at SMP. We jogged easily, taking different routes on each leg. I ran in running shoes rather than O' shoes. A mistake as the wet weather meant I slipped a bit on rocks and mud. Near the end I came across a brand new trail! Turns out they've closed a small section of the existing trail and re-routed the trail. Unfortunately the new trail is a significant part of the OK test loop. It'll add a couple hundred meters to the test loop.
Just a bit to break a sweat and feel like I'd done more than sit around. My legs felt a bit tired in the a.m., but felt fine by the end of the day. I'll do some night O' practice tomorrow (in the rain?).
A hilly trail run (with headlamp) at PNS. My altimeter watch needs a new battery. So I'm not certain of the climb. I felt like about 900-1000 feet. The park had signs announcing a hunt. Apparently they're having an archery hunt for forest rats. The park will be closed 12/11-16 and 1/4-9 for the hunt. I saw the glowing eyes of lots of forest rats tonight.
An easy jog at Wyandotte. I wasn't sure how I'd feel. I decided to run for 20 minutes and then either go back to the car or stay out for 90 minutes. After 20 minutes I was having fun, though feeling a bit tired. I spent the first hour in the forest, the last 30 minutes of trails/grass/roads.
