orienteering 1:35:00 [4]
15c

HVO red course at Sebago. Warm weather (mid/upper 80s)...I suffered. When I compared splits it was clear I slowed on the way to the third control, then crawled the last k or so. I climbed 1240 feet. ST=562.

running 30:00 [2]

Jogging around at SMP. Dick, Nancy, Mary, Fritz and Nadim made it. Snorkel showed up for a visit (he ran earlier). We jogged to/from the car.

running 15:00 [4]

I ran the test loop in 16:12. The time isn't especially good (last month I ran 15:24). The trail was a bit muddy and the weather was a bit warm -- both costing me a little time I suppose. I finished faster than Nadim! Unfortunately, he took a wrong turn near the end (he'd made up nearly a minute on me by just past the halfway point). Climb for the whole session (including warm up and jog to the car) was 440 feet.

running 35:00 [2]

Jogging around at Wyandotte to warm up, then back to the car. Humid today, but not so warm.

running 15:00 [4]

Intervals -- 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2 and 1. I rested by walking until my h.r. dropped to 140 (recovery times from 28-48 seconds). Including the 35 minutes of jogging, I climbed 440 feet.

cycling 40:00 [1]

Usually when I wake up on a weekend I feel like running. Today I didn't. So, I didn't run. Instead of running, I brewed some coffee and sat around reading (no NASCAR race to watch today!) -- a lazy day. I put in a few minutes on the trainer just to break a sweat.
