I ran at Wyandotte. It was warm, but not too bad. I would have gotten out of the house a bit earlier, but I sat at the computer and watched radio times from the WOC relay showing up. It looked like the U.S. men would finally do better than 1983 (I think the team then was Mikell, Tom Jr., Carl and Eric). I left as soon as the finish time showed up and was good enough to be better than 1983. I was pretty psyched when I left the house for a run...disappointed when I got home and saw the official results with a DQ. Bummer....

Near the end of my run at Wyandotte, I threw in ten minutes at an honest effort. My sense of pace is a bit off -- I kept going a bit too hard, then easing off, then going a bit too hard. The h.r. was a bit high, as much due to the heat as the effort.

Jogging around at PNS. It was hot, but I guess not too bad. I also did....

...5 x the rocky hill. I took it slow. My splits (and avg. h.r.): 3:03 (154), 3:14 (160), 3:19 (161), 3:17 (164) and 3:02 (166).

I jogged around a bit at PNS on the way home. It felt quite good.

On the trainer a bit. I'm almost recovered from the travel/jet-lag (though it was pretty difficult to pay attention at work this afternoon).

I stopped at PNS on the way home from work and jogged around a bit. I'm still worn out and a bit jet lagged. But, an easy jog felt nice.
