running 40:00 [2]

Mary and I went to PNS before it got too hot. I jogged around a bit while Mary ran her test loop. I saw a couple of flocks of young turkeys -- I'd never seen that before.

After relaxing a bit, I rode the trainer while watching live TDF coverage on TV.

I ran at Wyandotte this morning. Even though I got going by 8 a.m., it was warm and humid (81 or so when I started, but 90 by the time I was done). I took it easy but was quite worn by the time I was done. Dan reminded me that it was the summer.

When I got home from running, I relaxed for a while (drinking some Peets coffee and reading a bit), then I did some riding on the trainer in the basement. OLN is showing highlights of last year's TDF all day. I had to take advantage of that.

105+ "heat index" today...so I rode the trainer in the basement instead of going outside for a run. I finished my ride just as Mary pulled into the garage with a bag full of fish tacos!

Some easy time on the trainer.

Relay champs. I spent about 11 minutes finding 10 (my first attackpoint being a road/parking lot junction on the edge of the control circle...hmmm). Others are much better at managing map problems.
